Mass Privacy Law up for comment

The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation (OCABR) is considering changes to 201 CMR 17.00 through 17.05: Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth.  The review of the regulations will be conducted pursuant to Executive Order 562 issued by Governor Baker on March 31, 2015.  The reading-old-handwriting-903265-mcurrent regulations are available online at http://www.mass.gov/ocabr/docs/idtheft/201cmr1700-reg.pdf links to PDF file .  In advance of considering draft changes and implementing the formal regulatory amendment process, the Office welcomes interested members of the public to attend an open meeting to provide input with regards to topics and possible changes the public would like the Office to consider in light of Executive Order 562.  All sections of the regulations are to be considered for revision, thus all comments are welcome.  The meeting will be held as follows:
